Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti opens up about moments of helplessness taking over
Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14th. The actor hung himself from the ceiling of his Bandra residence. Since then Sushant’s family has been in shock. Sushant’s father KK Singh had filed an FIR against the actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty nad her family. But, the family is still in mourning as Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti expressed that helplessness takes over most of the times.
Shweta took to her Twitter handle and wrote, “There are moments when sense of helplessness takes over but then I remind myself there are millions who are praying and fighting for truth and at no cost justice can be denied! #JusticeForSushant #GlobalPrayers4SSR #CBIForSSR #Warriors4SSR #Godiswithus

Sushant was earlier felicitated by the California State Assembly for his contribution. In an interview with India Today, Shweta said, “It’s a great privilege for me to accept this honour from California State Assembly, on behalf of my brother, in remembrance and appreciation of his philanthropic work and contributions to Indian cinema. I thank the Assembly members and the Indian American community for their continuous support in these hours of crisis.”
Shweta has also been actively urging people to join the Global prayer that the family has organised for Sushant. She has also urged everyone to join the campaign of getting CBI investigation for Sushant in order to get justice for Sushant. Kangana Ranaut, Ankita Lokhande, Varun Dhawan and others have also shown their support.
