Mohit Baghel’s Death: Salman’s Co-Actor’s close friend reveals details of his cancer battle
Mohit Baghel, who started his career as a child actor, breathed his last today. The 27-year-old actor lost his battle to cancer. The talented actor’s sudden demise at such a young age has left everyone shocked. The actor’s close friend Santosh Gupta opened up about his cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Mohit’s close friend Santosh Gupta is devastated by his sudden death. Speaking to SpotBoyE, Gupta said, “Mohit was extremely close to me as I was the one who brought him to Mumbai for his first show, ‘Chote Miyan’, where he became the first runner up. He was a brilliant comedian and have worked in many popular films. Unfortunately, the actor was suffering from cancer and he lost the battle too soon. He breathed his last this morning in Mathura.”
Divulging details of his cancer treatment, Gupta further revealed, “I spoke to him 15-days-back on a call when he revealed to me that he is in Mathura with his family since the time his cancer was diagnosed in December 2019. He was going through chemotherapies. I didn’t know that it will turn out to be our last call. I am completely shaken up as we started our career together and because of him I came to Mumbai on 26/11.”
Mohit began his career with comedy show ‘Chote Miyan’. He went on to feature in hit films like ‘Ready’, ‘Jai Ho‘ and ‘Jabariya Jodi’ to name a few. He was supposed to star in Yash Raj Film’s upcoming film ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’.
