Ace lyricist Yogesh Gaur commonly credited as Yogesh, who was born on March 19, 1943, left for his heavenly abode today. He was just 77 years of age. After Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan, this is another big loss to the film industry. Yogesh Gaur’s news has drowned the people of the film industry into sorrow once again.

Talking about Yogesh Gaur, he was an Indian writer and lyricist, who worked in many popular films back in the 1970s. He wrote songs for many hugely popular Bollywood movies. He is best known for songs like ‘Kahin Door Jab Din Dhal Jaaye’ from ‘Anand’, ‘Zindagi Kaisi Hai Paheli’ from ‘Anand’, ‘Rajnigandha Phool Tumhare Mahke Youhi Jivan Me’ from ‘Rajnigandha’. ‘Rimjhim Gire Saawan’, ‘Kai Baar Yunhi Dekha’ hai from ‘Rajnigandha’ and ‘Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha’ from ‘Baaton Baaton Mein’ were some more of his popular tracks.

Yogesh Gaur was born in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He moved in search of work, his cousin was a screenplay director. His first work was with Hrishikesh Mukherjee and wrote many popular songs for him. Yogesh Gaur also worked in television serials as a writer.
