The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has filed a case under sections 20, 22, 27 and 29 of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act against Rhea and her drug circle. They have booked Rhea, her brother Showik, Jaya Saha, Shruti Modi and Gaurav Arya for their alleged dealings in banned drugs.

As per a report in Times Now, Rhea Chakraborty and others named in the case will undergo a blood test.

After the drug angle cropped up, Times Now accessed a few deleted WhatsApp chats of Rhea and others like Jaya Saha and Samuel Miranda allegedly chatting about drugs like MDMA, hash, and more. It was also reported that Rhea received a supply of Cannabidiol Oil and she gave it to Sushant by mixing it in coffee.

Meanwhile, in an interview with India Today, Rhea has opened up on many allegations that have been levelled against her. She said that she was not living off Sushant’s money as claimed by the media reports and Sushant’s family. She also narrated what happened to Sushant during their Europe trip.

The Narcotics Control Bureau became part of the investigation after the Enforcement directorate found proofs against Rhea Chakraborty on the usage and dealing with drugs along with her friends.
