It was on June 18, there was an announcement that a movie titled ‘Suicide Or Murder’ would be made on Sushant Singh’s Rajput death. Producer Vijay Shekhar Gupta will produce the movie and Sushant’s lookalike Sachin Tiwari will play the lead role. The poster of the movie featuring Sachin was released on June 20. But now Sachin has landed into legal trouble. Producer Marut Singh and director Sanoj Mishra have sent Sachin a legal notice on the grounds that they had signed him for a film titled ‘Shashank’ (based on the late actor Sushant and Bollywood nepotism) and he took money from them, listened to the script and then shared the story with another producer.

Though they haven’t mentioned the name of the producer it is obvious that they are hinting at ‘Suicide Or Murder’ producer Vijay Shekhar Gupta.

We called Vijay’s partner Nitin Pant who said, “We are working with our legal team. Earlier, Sanoj Mishra’s team called Sachin in Lucknow and he stayed four days for some workshops and then they made him sign a one-sided agreement where there was no amount or date mentioned in it. They used to give him khichdi in 24 hours. Four days later he went to his sister’s home that is 17 kms away. He went there on foot and he had only Rs 50 and took an auto to reach his sister’s place.”

When we asked how they met Sachin, he said, “We met him later through Instagram on July 15. We got 22 profiles out of which we chose Sachin and took his audition and did a photoshoot and released a poster of him. We have kept him in a first-class hotel and has been training him for the movie because he is a raw talent. He is also getting training in acting before the shoot begins. Sachin’s family has sent a reply back to the legal notice. He has someone in the family who is an advocate who has sent notice back.”

Nitin rubbished all the allegations by Sanoj Mishra saying, “His film had a different title but now he has changed it to ‘Shashank’. The title is not even registered whereas we have registered our title two months back. We have announced our movie on June 18 before Sanoj Mishra’s announcement. He doesn’t have a legal ground to talk to us in court. They have kept Sachin for four days and fed him one-time khichdi and practised one shot with some choreographer and the one who cooked khichdi was the writer.”

Nitin further said, “They have alleged that they have spent Rs 1 crore. God knows what they have done. These are all lies and publicity stunt and nothing else. This happened before we got in touch with Sachin. I have seen the legal notice where I saw that whatever their deal was, it was one-sided and there was no sign of Sanoj Mishra. They didn’t even send a copy to Sachin. He is innocent. They have even alleged that they have paid Sachin in advance. They haven’t paid a single penny and they don’t have proof.”
