The Supreme Court has given the verdict. The top court has directed for CBI for Sushant Singh Rajput case. The Mumbai Police has to fully co-operate with the central probe agency. The court said that Bihar Police is competent to give the consent for CBI probe. CBI will begin soon said the Supreme Court. This is a big win for Sushant’s family and fans. Also, this is the victory of democracy as well.

Maharashtra Government was challenging the order and now as the court has ordered now, the Mumbai Police must co-operate now.

After Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, his father KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and her family. Rhea then filed a plea in the Supreme Court seeking the FIR’s transfer to Mumbai Police. On the last hearing on August 11, the top court had withheld their decision and Bihar Police, Mumbai Police, Rhea Chakraborty and Sushant Singh Rajput’s father were asked to submit their written replies.

Sushant’s family lawyer Vikas Singh has also said that it’s a great victory for everyone. He said, “The court has ruled out all the points in our favour. It has also ruled that the Bihar government had the authority to refer the case to CBI. So, the Maharashtra government can’t challenge the decision as the Supreme Court has used its inherent power.”
