Karisma Kapoor is an Indian film actress and was born on 25 June 1974. She is considered as one of the most popular and highest-paid Hindi film actresses in the 1990s and early 2000s. She made her debut in the industry with the film Prem Qaidi. Though the film was moderately successful, nobody had any idea that Karishma would one day rule the industry. Subsequently, she starred in several box office hits, including the dramas Jigar and Anari, Raja Babu, Coolie No. 1, etc. Her alluring beauty and remarkable skills was something worth to remember. Her tuning with her co-actor Govinda was something that created magic on the silver screen. Karishma’s naughty style and Govinda’s dance-comedy was quite entertaining.

Karisma made a distinct identity in Bollywood on the strength of her acting. But post-marriage, she said goodbye to her Bollywood career. However, she occasionally appeared in a few films or TV shows. Karishma married a businessman – Sanjay Kapur in the year 2003. But their marriage did not last long and the duo separated in 2012.

After a few years of marriage, there were reports of differences between the two due to which she decided to end their 8 years of marriage. In fact, the actress accused her husband of physical violence and inappropriate behavior towards her. Karisma insisted that post their divorce, the children would remain with her only. Recently, the pictures of her daughter Adara went viral on social media handles in which she looked extremely adorable.

Karishma was successful in her professional life but suffered a lot in her personal life. She was so upset with her married life that she even got an FIR against Sanjay Kapur. In this report, she revealed how Sanjay used to torture her. The actress opened about the atrocities of her husband and stated, “Sanjay used to talk to my brother-in-law about the expenses incurred throughout the year. Not only that, he told his mother to slap me because I did not wear a dress which his mother had gifted me”.
