Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: Narcotics Control Bureau books Rhea Chakraborty and others for drug conspiracy
Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death case is taking a new turn every single day. Enforcement Directorate (ED’s) investigation in the case has brought a new angle stating Rhea Chakraborty’s alleged dealing in banned drugs. Now the latest reports state that the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has booked Rhea and others. Read on to know the details.
According to a report in India Today, based on the findings of ED, the NCB has filed a case under sections 20, 22, 27 and 29 of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act. They have booked Rhea, her brother Showik, Jaya Saha, Shruti Modi and Gaurav Arya for their alleged dealings in banned drugs. Reportedly, Gaurav is an alleged drug-peddler. All these people will be probed for illegal possession, buying and transportation of banned drugs.
Recently, Times Now had accessed Rhea’s deleted chats on Whatsapp which indicated that not only she took drugs but apparently she even administered them to Sushant without his knowledge.
However refuting all these allegations, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde has said that the actress has never consumed any kind of drugs and is even willing to undergo a blood test. The NCB team is likely to reach Mumbai today and they will first grill Rhea.
