Due to the coronavirus crisis, a lot of Indian celebrities have been donating in cash or kinds to the needy people and Aamir Khan has been one of the stars who is acting on forefront of doing the good deed. Recently, a video went viral claiming that Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan made a surprise monetary donation to the underprivileged.
The TikTok video, which is yet to be verified, claims that Aamir sent a truck full of bags of wheat flour packets, to be distributed among the needy. It worth mentioning that on April 23 the truck arrived in Delhi in an area where underprivileged people are residing amid the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. The vehicle was loaded with one-kilo packets of flour.
While many refused to take the packets because they felt one kilo would hardly serve any purpose in their families, the video mentions that those who took the packets were in for a surprise. Within each packet of flour, it turns out there was Rs 15,000 hidden in cash.
However, there was no confirmation on the news that Aamir Khan is the one in the video distributing the packets.
Now, the Dangal actor has himself rubbished all the reports claiming of him donating money in wheat bags. Taking to Twitter, the actor clarified that the news is false and he has not done anything like this. The actor wrote: ‘Guys, I am not the person putting money in wheat bags. Its either a fake story completely, or Robin Hood doesn’t want to reveal himself!’
