1. Om Puri

Om Puri’s sudden death in January last year left Bollywood shocked and saddened. The legendary actor passed away at the age of 66 on a Friday morning after suffering a heart attack.

Om Puri had just returned from his shoot the previous evening. He was shooting for Kabir Khan’s Tubelight. The director expressed his grief over Om Puri’s sudden demise via social media.

2. Shammi Kapoor

The Elvis Presley of Bollywood, Shammi Kapoor left us in the November of 2011 due to chronic renal failure. He had just finished shooting his role for Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar when it happened.

The actor had a cameo in the movie and wished to have a longer role. In an interview, Ranbir Kapoor said that he was the one and only rockstar of Bollywood and that he looked up to him as a grandfather.
