Bob Christo was born in 1938 in Australia. In 1943 his father took him to Germany to his grandmother and paternal aunt. Meanwhile, that time world war was going on in Germany. He started theatre along with studies there and met his first wife Helga while doing theatre. They got blessed with three children 1 son and two daughters. However, Helga died in a car accident.

Actually, once Bob saw Parveen Babi‘s photo on the cover of a magazine. He went crazy after her. He wanted to meet her and to fulfill his desire he reached India. Here he came to know that the shooting for the film ‘The Burning Train’ is going near Churchgate Mumbai. He went to meet Parveen Babi next day.
