Bollywood churned out one of its biggest blockbusters in the form of Lagaan. The movie not just did exceptionally well in India, but even went on to create history by getting nominated in Best Foreign Film category at Oscars 2002. The film swept all the awards back home too, securing it’s place in the list of finest movies made by Bollywood so far.

The director still did a few goof-ups in the film which perhaps went unnoticed not just by the viewers but by the director himself.

Despite the bloopers, Lagaan will always be remembered as one of Bollywood’s most loved classics.

Six-ball over

The over consisted of four deliveries. From 1889 to 1899, the number of balls per over was increased to five. It was only in 1900 that six ball overs were introduced.


 

Boundary Line

The boundary was either the picket fence, or a physical entity such as a cycling or athletic track running around the ground.


 

Score Board Mistake

When Kachra is batting, the scoreboard in the background shows a score of 314. However, after two more runs have been scored, the close-up of the scoreboard shows the score to be 313.
