Hum Paanch Star Bhairavi Raichura Talks About Her Character Kajal Bhai; Reveals She Used To Miss Dressing Up

comeback to the small screen is Hum Paanch, which incidentally clocks 25 years in 2020. The comedy revolves around a middle class man, his second wife and their 5 daughters who couldn’t be more different from each other.

In a recent chat with Spotboye, Hum Paanch star Bhairavi Raichura aka Kajal Bhai opened up about playing the role of a tomboy. When asked if she was offered similar roles after acing the character, Bhairavi shared, “Thankfully not! I was doing a couple of shows on Zee at the same time and those shows depicted characters which were vastly different from what Kajal was. However, while I was playing the character of Kajal, I often used to miss the feeling of dressing up like my other co-actors. Unlike them, I would need just 5 minutes to get into my character and often I would wear my costume from home and come to the set. At times, I felt quite the urge to look like a girl. But then, I would remember the importance my character added to the show.”

Her character was undoubtedly one of the coolest roles in the show and we don’t think any other actor would have done justice to it.
